RAS Japan Ltd. was founded in 2001 by Yasuo Koike, who has over 30 years of experience in the registration process of agrochemicals, as an agency providing consulting services for the registration of agrochemicals, veterinary medicines, feed additives, general chemicals, etc.
RAS Japan has experts in the fields of medicines, veterinary medicine, pharmacology, biology, biochemistry, chemistry, toxicology, translation, and agrochemical registration process.
Our expertise is in TGAI and formulation, maintaining existing agrochemical registrations and applying for registration of new agrochemicals.
We are currently working for our clients, agrochemical companies in both domestic and foreign.
We also provide support for import tolerance registration for companies outside Japan.
Suma Kato, who has over 15 years of experience in RAS Japan has been appointed as representative from April 2024, and Yasuo Koike is now an advisor to RAS Japan.

Biography of Advisor

• Completed Master’s Degree (Veterinary Science) in Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University (former Nippon Veterinary and Zoo-technical College).
• Engaged in management of infectious diseases in domestic animals, safety assessment of livestock products and quality control of feeds for domestic animals at the Central Research Institute of Nihon Nosan Corporation (11 years).
• Engaged in education on veterinary public health and research on food safety at Nippon Veterinary and Zoo-technical College (6 years).
• Engaged in registration of agrochemicals, environmental safety issues, development and research at ICI Japan KK (→Zeneca KK→Syngenta KK) (15 years).
• Member of Japanese Society for Food Hygiene and Safety. Director of the NPO of Consultation Room for Nutrition and sanitation.
